About Me
Hello!
I'm Serena — a 27-year-old software developer and designer based between Philadelphia and Dallas. I graduated from Northeastern University in December 2022 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Graphic Design, and I've spent the last few years building production iOS apps, designing interfaces, and writing code across the stack.
I'm drawn to the intersection of engineering and aesthetics — things that work well and feel right. When I'm not coding I'm usually world-building, making music, or thinking about systems (the ones in games and the ones in real life).

Timeline
Fell in love with coding in 8th grade — learned HTML & CSS from YouTube and Codecademy.
Took my first graphic design class sophomore year of high school. Discovered the artistic side of myself I'd never really pursued before.
Started freelancing in graphic design, 3D modeling, and animation. Built the confidence and range I still draw on today.
First full-time role at Northeastern's Advancement Events team — design, web, and client work. Realized this was the career I wanted.
Graduated Northeastern with a B.S. in CS & Design. Moved into full stack and design contract work while building toward iOS.
Completed an intensive Swift bootcamp and went into production iOS development — shipping features on apps with millions of users at Kroger and American Airlines.
Building iOS apps, TypeScript projects, and this site. Open to remote contract and full-time work. Always making something on the side.
